Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and Connect My Email, LLC ("Connect My Email," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Connect My Email service, including our website, APIs, MCP server, inbox-cleanup products, and related software (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, connecting an email provider, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Connect My Email is a connector that bridges your existing email account (Gmail, Microsoft 365, iCloud, Yahoo, Fastmail, ProtonMail, or generic IMAP) with Claude and other supported AI assistants, so the assistant can read, search, and act on your email when you ask it to.

We are an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, Apple, Yahoo, Fastmail, or any other email provider. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for: (a) the accuracy of the information you provide, (b) maintaining the security of your account, app passwords, and OAuth grants, and (c) all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at security@connectmyemail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

To use the Service you authorize Connect My Email to access your email account on your behalf via OAuth tokens or app-specific passwords that you supply. You represent that:

• You are the lawful owner of, or are otherwise authorized to grant access to, the email account being connected.
• Your use of the Service complies with the terms of your email provider (including Google API Services, Microsoft Graph, and applicable IMAP/SMTP provider terms).
• You will not connect an account that you do not control, including shared or workplace accounts you have no authority to expose to a third-party tool.

You may revoke access at any time through your email provider's security settings or by deleting your Connect My Email account. Revocation immediately prevents future access; previously processed data is handled per our Privacy Policy.

4.1 Communications

By creating an account you agree that we may send you transactional, security, and operational messages about the Service (for example, sign-in alerts, billing receipts, and service notices) — these are necessary to provide the Service and cannot be opted out of while your account is active. We may also send product or marketing communications; you can opt out of those at any time via the unsubscribe link or by emailing hello@connectmyemail.com.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Send spam, phishing, malware, or any unsolicited or unlawful communications.
• Access, scrape, or harvest email or contact data belonging to people who have not consented to your use.
• Impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity, or forge headers or sender information.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where applicable law expressly permits.
• Bypass rate limits, abuse-prevention systems, authentication, or quotas, or use the Service to attack, probe, or disrupt any system.
• Resell, sublicense, or expose the Service as a hosted product to third parties without a separate written agreement.
• Use the Service in any application where failure could reasonably result in personal injury, environmental damage, or other catastrophic harm.
• Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right, including intellectual property, privacy, anti-spam, and export-control laws.

We may suspend or terminate access for any actual or suspected violation, with or without notice.

"Your Content" means email messages, attachments, contacts, and other data accessible through your connected email account, plus any prompts or instructions you submit via the Service.

You retain all rights in Your Content. You grant Connect My Email a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to access, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely as necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service for you. We do not use Your Content to train AI models, and we do not sell Your Content. Conversations you have with Claude are governed by Anthropic's terms.

Free and paid plans are described at connectmyemail.com/pricing. By selecting a paid plan, you authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge the listed fee on a recurring basis until you cancel.

• Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
• Refunds: Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may issue discretionary refunds for service incidents on our part.
• Taxes: Listed prices exclude applicable taxes, which are added at checkout where required.
• Price changes: We may change pricing on at least 30 days' notice; changes take effect at your next renewal.

7.1 Free Trials

We may offer a free trial of a paid plan for a limited period, at our discretion. If you provide a payment method when starting a trial, you will not be charged until the trial ends; unless you cancel before the last day of the trial, you may be automatically charged the applicable subscription fee for the plan you selected. We may modify or withdraw any free-trial offer at any time without notice.

7.2 Promotions and Credits

Any promotion, discount, credit, or special offer may be governed by additional terms disclosed at the time. Where those terms conflict with these Terms, the promotion terms control for that offer. Credits and promotional value have no cash value, are non-transferable, and expire per their stated terms.

Features labeled "beta," "preview," or "experimental" are provided for evaluation, may change or be removed at any time, and are excluded from any service-level commitments. Use at your own risk.

The Service, including all software, designs, logos, documentation, and content created by us, is owned by Connect My Email, LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.

Feedback you choose to provide is non-confidential, and you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use it without restriction.

9.1 Copyright and DMCA Notices

We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to legal@connectmyemail.com including: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) identification of the copyrighted work; (c) identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location; (d) your contact details; (e) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized; and (f) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act for the owner. We may remove infringing material and terminate repeat infringers.

The Service interoperates with third parties including Anthropic (Claude), email providers, payment processors, and hosting infrastructure. We do not control these services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for any third-party act, omission, or outage.

We may use third-party analytics and monitoring providers to understand usage and improve the Service. Any data collected through these providers is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. A current list of subprocessors is available on request at hello@connectmyemail.com.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

We do not warrant that AI-generated outputs (including those produced when Claude acts on your email) will be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them, sending messages drafted by AI, or taking irreversible actions.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONNECT MY EMAIL AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Connect My Email and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from (a) your use of the Service, (b) Your Content, (c) your violation of these Terms or applicable law, or (d) your violation of any third party's rights, including those of your email provider or any email recipient.

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from settings. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or fail to pay amounts when due. We may also discontinue the Service or any feature with reasonable notice.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice (such as by email or in-product notice) before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service before the change takes effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the arbitration clause below, the state and federal courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes that are not subject to arbitration.

16.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at legal@connectmyemail.com and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute for at least 30 days.

16.2 Binding Arbitration; Class Waiver

Any unresolved dispute will be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration provider in Delaware (or, by mutual agreement, by video conference). YOU AND CONNECT MY EMAIL EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. Either party may bring qualifying claims in small-claims court. You may opt out of this arbitration clause within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing legal@connectmyemail.com with the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out."

You represent that you are not located in, and will not use the Service in, any country or for any party subject to U.S. or other applicable export controls or sanctions. The Service is "commercial computer software" under applicable U.S. government regulations and is licensed to government users with only the rights set out in these Terms.

• Entire agreement: These Terms and the documents referenced in them are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
• Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
• No waiver: Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• Notices: We may give notices by email, in-product message, or by posting on the Service. Notices to us must be sent to legal@connectmyemail.com.
• Force majeure: Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control.
